6:35PM - OMG! Yay!
I didn't realize that strawberries were ripe yet! I walked through the Olympia Farmer's Market (I work right next to it) and there they were! Fresh, picked this morning STRAWBERRIES! I bought half a flat! And ate a basket before I got them home!!! Yum!!!!

4:33AM - Weekend Update
So, here is a weekend update:
Friday: I only work 6 1/2 hours on Fridays so I get to leave at 1:30. Well, usually closer to 2. I then meet with my client so that she can sign checks and I can pick up paperwork. Friday's dinner was order in from BJs via a delivery service. This delivery service is a very dangerous thing for us since we order probably twice a week.
Saturday: Saturday was a very busy day. We went to the Costuming Sewing Circle. I didn't bring any sewing but did bring knitting and managed to refinish a sock (it was too big for the owner). Then, home for lunch and a nap. We watched a movie and worked on projects some more.
Sunday: I got up WAY to early but couldn't really go back to sleep. Off to grocery shopping so we have some food to eat. We watched the Season finale of Dexter, that means that there are 2 DVDs heading back to Netflix. I goofed off a little playing The Sims 2. I lose track of time so easily with it. Then I decided to start on the chemise that I want to make. I started it about 3 and when I stopped at 9 (after stopping for dinner) all I have left to do is the sleeves and the hand sewing.
Mother's Day: My mother called me... I was going to call her about 5:30 (to make sure that she got home from church and spending the day with my sister) but she called me at 5:15... she does it every time! R asked me what I wanted him to make for dinner. I wanted chicken vindaloo. We discovered a really yummy pre-made vindaloo sauce a few months ago and it just sounded good. While we were at the grocery store we discovered that they have discontinued it... URRGGG! So, Peanut Chicken... not what I really wanted but it will be good. Fast forward to 6 and R is cooking... but wait... the chicken is severely freezer burned and not looking too healthy... so no Peanut Chicken! Dinner was finally: Chicken Patties, rice and Alfredo Sauce. Oh, and I am still craving Vindaloo!!

7:18PM - This Just Sucked!
So, this was so not how I wanted to spend my evening.
On my way home I realized that my glasses felt out of alignment. I reached up to adjust them and ended up with the temple in my hand... Doesn't this sound like fun?
I took the glasses to the place where I bought them. Those frames are discontinued... they are less then a year old!! So, if they have a set of the frames in the lab then they will put the lenses in them. If not, I get to have a new set of glasses, eventually...
I am so not happy... and quickly developing a headache cause my glasses don't line up right.

10:01PM - Kissing Pillow Explained
So, I have been asked what a "Kissing Pillow" is. So here you go:
The local Embroiders' Guild (I think) is making Kissing Pillows for the soldiers that are being deployed from our local Army base. A Kissing Pillow is a cross stitched top with the words "I Love You" and a heart on it. That is the part that I am doing. Then I will pass them to krazyfiberkat who will pass them on to the finishers. They will make them into 4" pillows that will then be given to the soldiers before they are deployed. The soldiers will either kiss them and give them to their family or their family will kiss them and give them to the soldier. It will be something that is small enough to carry in a soldier's pocket or helmet. When I am finished with all of them I will post a picture.
Needless to say, as a soldier's daughter whose father spent time deployed away from home this is something that is very dear to me.
